Although Labor Day weekend typically represents the end of summer, there’s still so much to do over what’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend in Cincinnati. Featuring the iconic WEBN Fireworks over the Ohio River on Sunday evening, the city is bustling with old traditions and new attractions all across the area. As you make your Sunday plans, 4EG venues are ready to celebrate the long weekend with you!

Begin with brunch at Keystone Bar & Grill

Beginning at 10:00am, Keystone Bar & Grill serves up delicious brunch fare, like the popular chicken + waffle and hangover burrito. Get an early start on the celebrations with bloody marys or treat the table to a $16 mimosa pitcher (or two). Located in both Covington and Clifton, Keystone caters to all your brunch needs on either side of the river. Plus, enjoy the warm weather on either location’s spacious patio. Served until 2:00pm, brunch is the perfect addition to your long weekend!

Cheer on the Reds at The Stretch

Dubbed as the official drinking destination of Cincinnati lovers, The Stretch is located just outside Great American Ballpark in the heart of The Banks, one of the most lively areas of downtown. Before the Reds take on the Detroit Tigers at 1:10pm, enjoy a cold beer or draft cocktail on our bustling patio on Freedom Way. Doors open at noon, and stop by after the game to enjoy the weather and atmosphere before the WEBN Fireworks at Riverfest begin!

Take in Riverfest at Newport on the Levee

Speaking of Riverfest, what better place to take in the fireworks show than Newport on the Levee? All day long, enjoy Riverfest on the Levee, a day of live music and entertainment to celebrate the 45th annual Labor Day Weekend tradition. The Levee is home to 4EG’s The Buzz at Bridgeview Box Park and 4EG’s newest addition, Beeline at Newport on the Levee. Along the riverwalk, Beeline will offer a walk-up booth with cold beer and seltzers. Take in an excellent view of the fireworks and check out one of the area’s most rapidly expanding attractions!

Enjoy reverse happy hour at The Righteous Room

On the Ohio side of the river, The Righteous Room will open from 6:00pm to 2:00am for their Labor Day Party with reverse happy hour: half-price drinks all night long! Located at 641 Walnut Street, The Righteous Room is in perfect proximity to the river, so come enjoy a delicious cocktail, beer, or wine before or after the fireworks. Our bar, lounge, and airy courtyard will be waiting for you!

Keep the party going with the Labor Day Post-Fireworks Party at Igby’s

The evening doesn’t end with the last boom of the fireworks show! After the grand finale, head to Igby’s for the Post-Fireworks Party! Open from 4:00pm - 2:00am, drink and dance in the heart of downtown Cincinnati before the day off on Monday. Enjoy cold drinks and warm hospitality in this inviting multi-level lounge located at 122 E. 6th Street.

Cheers to great food, drinks, and weather for one of Cincinnati’s favorite weekends of the year!
