Drink Pink: 4EG Teams Up with Karen Wellington Foundation for Third Annual Breast Cancer Awareness FUNdraiser

A night out can do more than bring people together. This October, it can help bring fun and joy to women and families living with breast cancer.

For the third year, 4EG is partnering with the Karen Wellington Foundation (KWF), a national organization dedicated to putting FUN in the lives of women living with breast cancer. Last year, 4EG raised $7,200 for KWF, helping provide vacations, spa days, concerts, sporting events, and other meaningful experiences for women and families navigating breast cancer. This cause is especially meaningful to 4EG this year, as one of our own is facing her own breast cancer journey.

Meet the Ghost Candy Margarita

Earlier this year, bartenders from 25 locations across four states created 35 cocktails for a company-wide competition. The winning cocktail - the Ghost Candy Margarita, created by Oksana Schornak of The Roosevelt Room at Liberty Center - will be available at every 4EG location throughout October. Made with Ghost Spicy Tequila, strawberry purée, lime juice, agave, club soda, a sugar rim, and a lime garnish, the Ghost Candy Margarita is a drink that gives back. For every one sold during October, $1 will be donated to KWF.

Join us for a FUNdraiser

On Wednesday, October 21st, 4EG will expand its support with a one-day FUNdraiser at all 25 locations. That day, $1 from every drink sold (not just the Ghost Candy Margarita) will be donated to KWF.

“The KWF loves our partnership and our friendship with 4EG. Now in our third year, 4EG embodies our mission. They understand the impact of fun and the value of joy,” said Gina Hardin, KWF spokesperson and breast cancer survivor. “4EG is going to help us touch the lives of 1,000 families who are living with breast cancer this year.”
