About the event
The Kentucky Derby is just around the bend so make sure to ride on in and join us for our annual watch party! 🏇🏽 Get down and Derby with The Roosevelt Room on Saturday, May 7th. 🍻
The race will be broadcasted on all of our TVs with sound starting at 6:50pm. 📺
We will be featuring $5 “The Roosevelt” cocktails, a specialty cocktail that was also a Teddy Roosevelt favorite. A twist on the classic mint julep, Teddy preferred rye whiskey instead of bourbon and a splash of brandy. We will be using Bulleit 95 Rye and a very specific and delicious type of brandy, Hennessy cognac.
And don’t forget your fashionable “giddy up” as it is not Derby day without the lavish hats, eccentric prints, and fancy bow ties. 🎀 We’ll have prizes and giveaways all night long for the best dressed!
The race may be short but the party doesn’t have to be! Doors open at 4pm! See you there, Rough Riders! 🐎
