Black Tot Day at Pilar

Raise a glass (or two) to naval history and good rum at Pilar’s Black Tot Day celebration on Thursday, July 31st! We’re throwing it back to the last day the British Royal Navy issued its sailors a daily rum ration.

For over 300 years, sailors were issued a daily "tot" of rum to boost morale and steady sea legs until Black Tot Day marked the end of this spirited tradition. But here at Pilar, we’re keeping the rum flowing in their honor.
